Calling all BEAUTY SEEKERS!
Looking out my window at the fall color in the Ozarks, I am reminded of how amazing it is to be surrounded by such beauty this time of year!

As a creator, that’s part of our job - to seek and find beauty! Sometimes we just get so busy that we forget to look up, to look around, to look inside for all things beautiful.
How do I know something is beautiful to me? When I see it, or think of it, or experience it, my heart does this little joyful flutter thing. Kinda hard to explain, but it feels really great. It feels like God is talking to me.
I’d like to give you a little challenge. Take a moment. Stop what you are doing. Right now.
Make a list of ten beautiful things in your life.

Long, deep breaths
My ninety-four year old friend across the street
The song, “Movies,” by our son, Garon
The scent of my new pumpkin spice candle
The taste of the white chicken chili I made a couple days ago
The piano in our living room
The color and texture of the fabric on my settee
How I feel when I’m writing music
When my husband laughs out loud
Simple, beautiful things. They are everywhere.
Be on the lookout for them. Be a beauty seeker. Seeking and seeing beautiful things will inspire you to create beautiful things…
