Valentine’s Day is in just two days, and I don’t know about you, but every year at this time, I think a lot about the word “love." The other day, I was looking for a particular “love” quote by Mother Teresa that I was trying to remember. This sent me down a wonderful rabbit hole of Mother Teresa quotes! I want to share a few of them with you, and I’m going to ask you to do something as you read them.
I want you to think about each of these quotes and how they apply to your creative work. This may require you to take a little time—to not just read this email and move on with your day, but to actually dig beneath the surface and do some soul-searching.
I personally believe that creativity is an act of love. And the more we understand love, the better we will be at creating. Love is at the heart of creation. And this is the pursuit of a lifetime.
